Last minute upgrade

If I try an upgrade offer two days out when will I get my answers?  I am worried about not being able to print out my ticket before I begin my journey, as I have to fly a day early.  Does it matter if my eticket doesn't have the upgrade?

I saw you commented in the other thread too.  
We sailed on MSC in March and I put in a bid for an upgrade.  I kept checking back to see if it was accepted and noticed that I could no longer change the bid. I checked my documents and they were already updated with my new room number.  I hadn't even gotten the email I was accepted yet. 

It was about 2 days before.

Ok. Thanks.  Maybe it is hit or miss, as it can be.  I'm also concerned because I can't access a printer and I travel one day before the cruise so I don't know about taking the chance because like I wrote I'd be upset if i couldn't get the priority boarding and especially if it didn't go through entirely.  I guess I'd get a refund though eventually

If in the US, most hotels will allow you to print out your documents in the business center.
