Adelaide winery tours: Barossa or Adelaide Hills

Hello eveyone,

 

We're on a cruise to Adelaide in March and are wondering your opinions if we should do a winery tour to Adelaide Hills, including Hahndorf or just go to Barossa wineries? If you have done both, please comment on your findings. Which wineries did you tour and were they worth it? I see that Petaluma is popular, however, the ratings are pretty low. How about Pike and Joyce or Mt. Lofty Ranges Vineyard? There are so many. Please share your experiences. Thank you!
