Do the Mediterranean Cruises accept USD in the casino?

We are sailing on 17 December on the Grandiosa. We are from the USA. Will they accept USD in the casino or does it need to be EURO?

It’s all in euros. They don’t have separate chips for you to bet in dollars, or nickel slots, or whatever. They will take your dollars but then charge you to convert them to euros.

You could pay your Dollars into the machine onboard used to register  credit/debit cards/ depositing cash for cash accounts and it will convert into Euros  for you  on your seapass account albeit at a terrible rate.

@heatherb1958 is definitely right about the terrible rate, it'll make an airport bureaux de change look cheap! 😄 I went to exchange euros into USD and quickly changed my mind when I saw the rate offered!
