larrybritt Posted December 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2022 We will be on a trip 12/27 with our daughter and was wondering if anyone had a picture of what the pull-out sofa bed looks like. I assume when it's opened up the access to the Balcony would be difficult. But just curious what it looks like and if anyone has thoughts as to how comfortable they are. jmelnick Posted December 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2022 On our recent cruise on the Discovery, the sofa bed wasn't the traditional pull-out. It was more of a pull-up. It was a twin size bed that raised up from the sofa. So, it had the same footprint as the sofa itself.
Wishing on a star Posted December 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2022 I haven't done this, but did look into this once. Yes, you can see how it would be if the sofa were pulled out. But, I have seen the sofa made up as a single, without pulling it out, by removing the pillows and using a mattress, like one from a pull down berth, on the sofa. Also, I believe that if the Mini sleeps 4, there will be a pull down berth that comes down above the sofa. Check the deck plans for that. (other websites like cruisedeckplans show the symbol for occupancy on the cabins) So, either of those might be options, and would leave everything more accessible.
