Carnival Freedom / Conquest class - cabin 2421 or 2425 ?

Pros / cons for Carnival Freedom interior cabin 2421 or 2425

Which should I choose ?  Friends will be in ocean view 2407, and we'll be the inside cabin so either is fine in regards to distance from them.

Do you know what's in the small blank area beside 2425 ?
Below us is other cabins so we're good there.
Above is the end of the crew galley/kitchen area so not sure about noise ?
Has anyone ever stayed in either of these cabins on Freedom or any of the other Conquest class ships (Conquest Glory Valor Liberty Freedom) ?

About us My husband will occasionally take a nap during the day, but otherwise isn't in the cabin.  I typically don't go back to the cabin between 9am - 1am except to change (i.e. only in the cabin/sleeping from 1am-9am typically).  We're mostly concerned about overnight or early in the morning (like 5-9am) kitchen noise directly above us, and in the blank areas surrounding those cabins on deck 2.  Sadly, there are very few other locations currently available where we could be near each other.  Friend is concerned about seasickness so she wanted 2407 because that was her only/most middle option on oceanview cabins that had an interior anywhere nearby.

you just do not want to be under that galley.   That place runs 24/7      Especially for a napper

2407 is a connecting room     Id be worried about noise from that area

the gray area is where firedoors are stored   and a cleaning closet for Room stewards

Also being that close should not be important as you can meet up in public areas     Id move down to deck one for less noise.    If your friend doent get sick in cars or rides she should be fine.    But if feeling woozy go to deck 5 and sit outside the casino

Even all the way back at the very end of the galley under where 2421 and 2425 are ?  I googled and couldn't find a review from anyone who had actually stayed in those specific cabins, or very close to there.  Yeh, not ideal I know.  If we weren't cruising with them, we would pick a different cabin all together.  (sigh)

When I looked, I think every single remaining oceanview is connecting.  😩
I'm more concerned about their neighbors !!  They're a fairly new couple and still in the honeymoon phase where they're frisky often LOL.  2429 is the only oceanview left that is non-connecting BUT its directly in front of the hallway coming off the elevators.  Folks tend to be LOUD coming off the elevators !!

My son had a cabin towards the end of the galley thinking it can’t be that bad.   It was.  And he had a 2 year old with him.   Baby was quite cranky

Dang it, I really hate to hear that.  So basically your answer is cabins 2421 and 2425 both suck. : (
Is either of them less sucky ?

we've had cabins right in front of elevator lobby with few problems. Your mileage may vary.

We have not been that lucky being near the elevators.  That is a deciding factor for us now.  Way more noise from people coming off the elevators than people in nearby cabins.  Of course that's also bad-luck of the draw if you get bad neighbors.  We've been neighbor lucky and elevator un-lucky.

I can't read the numbers well off the chart you've given, but how about going with the cabin that's in yellow that's three above the mid-ship elevators or the cabin that's 4 below the rear-ship elevators? Both of those are under the dining rooms and shouldn't be too bad and they're not too far from your friend.
