Onboard credit to prepay shore excursions

I can't seem to find the threat when I search but I seem to recall the NCL will now let you use on onboard credit to pre-book shore excursions.   Can anyone confirm if that's the case?  I have ridiculous amounts of credit on my Alaska cruise and would like to book our shorex before it sells out.   Tyia

Never seen this. Onboard credit has always been available on board only.

Nope! Sadly Norwegian makes it hard to use the credits. The credits must be spent when you get 'onboard'. So you would have to book the tours after you get on the ship. It's ridiculous.
