Got a status match after I booked my cruise

Had this happened to anyone? When I do the final check in will my status match show on the final documents? The documents I have now just show pre-status match.

Yes status match has to be done prior to your first sailing. Any perks will be active immediately so call and get you 5% discount.

Just to add, this was not my first sailing. What I’m trying to figure out any documentation I have from the booking still shows my pre match status. I have since been matched to diamond. So when I got to check in will my final documents now show my status or should I wait for more documents from msc.

 

they said I have to send emails to voyagers but each email takes so long to get a reply

Odd to get a status match after previously sailing MSC. When check in opens the new docs should show the new status.

You can status match at any time , but only once.

I just got status with Hilton diamond.

so I went from gold to diamond with msc.

Nice. I’m only 3,000 points away from diamond with 2 cruises booked for next year so I’ll be diamond soon.

Ya I just want to make sure the extra perks are thier for this sailing. Like boarding, specialty dining etc..

If you get a Black Card at checkin, you should be good. If not, you can ask at check in or go to guest services as soon as you board and ask them to confirm.

At check in is there not an express line for diamond passengers or am I remembering that wrong?
