Confectionery / Popcorn Store Old San Juan (something for a 7 year old)

I recall hearing about a store in old San Juan that served multiple flavors of popcorn. I've been looking for some place to bring our 7 year old boy. I've seen where they may have closed down. Apart from the typical souvenir shops, is there a place that would wow a 7 year old boy not too too far away from the cruise port (nothing historic like the castles).

Doc Popcorn is on the outskirts of San Juan.   Bit of a hike via taxi.  You can google for maps and information.

There are some  piragua  (shaved ice) carts around usually in the plazas.  Limbers del Viejo is a small store where you get served at a window.   It's just south of the  Mueseo de Americas.

If you head up to El Morro. there are kite vendors who can sell you a kite to fly.  It's usually windy and lots of kites flying.  CVS near the pier also sells them.  Not the best quality kites but  inexpensive and good for a day.
