Marella Discovery2. 7th Feb 23

Anyone else on this cruise? We fly out of Birmingham.

This is our 2nd Marella cruise and are really looking forward to it.

Just research the ports and what is on offer. Although we have been on 14 Caribbean cruises  (mostly P&O) many of the ports are new to us.

Any tips would be gratefully received😊

We join the ship on the 7th too but flying from Gatwick.  We haven't been to the caribbean before and this is also our first cruise with tui/marella we've waited sooo long, third time lucky 🤞so can't help with tips but I'd be interested if anyone has any info.

Hi Travis26,

This is our 2nd cruise to the Caribbean with Marella but all new ports.

We have cruised many times with P&O but their itinerary very rarely has any new ports, which is the main reason we changed to Marella.

We have booked a couple of trips - Dunns River Falls and Mayan ruins with Marella. I have also booked a private car tour for Havana. 

All the other islands we will do what we normally do and get off the ship and see what local taxis offer for tours or beach transfers.

I will be researching what is on offer and if I find anything interesting I will let you know.
