GreenPastaEarth Posted December 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2022 Family has decided to not do an excursion in San Juan on our upcoming cruise. Been there once before and loved the feel of the island; saw one of the churches and ate some good food. Just wondering what people recommend seeing/going to that's more laid back and will give us a feel for the city.
Rare crewsweeper Posted December 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2022 Take a walk along the Paseo to the west up to El Morro and visit the fort. Then walk along that street to the San Cristobal fort and head down the hill to the Plaza. from there you can venture along any of the streets for shopping or head back to the cruise piers. GreenPastaEarth Posted December 28, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted December 28, 2022 Thank you so much! We stopped briefly to see the San Sebastian fort last time. It will be very fun to check out one of the others!
SueMo Posted December 30, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2022 If you have a National Park Pass, bring it along for free entry into El Morro.
