Advice please re FCC

I have a couple of FCC's from cruises that were booked with a US travel agency and I want to use them in the UK [we are in the UK]. I'm sure I was able to do this previously but my UK TA is saying that Celebrity cannot accept a US $ value FCC in the UK.

 

Anyone know different?

Did you phone Celebrity to see what they have to say?

I actually found an email from 2020 from celebrity confirming it could be done so have relayed this to my ta tx
