We are going on June 11th on Spirit. Was wondering if anyone knows if taxis are available at the port to get to Kennedy??? I hear people talking about renting cars, are they available right at the port? What companies?

Most recent cruise was Thanksgiving 2004 on Majesty out of Charleston. What a Great Time:)

I have read that taxis are available. Take a look on the port of call board under United States! Have fun!:)

Thanks, I did go to that board and will probably check into renting a car so that we can go to Kennedy and also have the ability to go somewhere else if we choose.

We will be on the Spirit 6-11 also....first time cruising....so i am just trying to find out as much as i can before we go

Hertz vans are there waiting for your NCL ship and you can rent a car for the day. Thrifty is also there and I found the manager/owners very friendly and courteous. Either way works well. They are used to this type of rental and they love them.
