On Harmony of the Seas NYE cruise.

As the title states.

 

A few things I want to mention.

 

Free  IN-APP texting works, but has a few issues. Plus side it's now FREE.

 

Sailing at full capacity, but as always you can find yourself alone we had pool all to our selves in the AM for about 2 hours while in Cozumel this AM.

 

Stowaway Pianist onboard Harmony! He is a riot. We rode the elevator with him and  7 of my family member's Sang a few bars of Sweet Caroline.. LOL

 

ANd the most important observation!  SPACE X Starlink is on board . WHIle in port speeds are blazing fast, when compared to the old satellite system RCL used to carry

Ill update when we are at sea the speed I see. Can't find the tests I did earlier in the week.

 

Guess we are lucky as we are getting AM/PM service from our room attendant, food in MDR has been typical RCL fare, menu changes daily as always , bar service has been amazing! Staff on board also amazing!

 

Also ship mad a hard 180 degree turn because an orange raft was spotted. No one was found to be in orange raft. Hopefully they were rescued or were part of the Celebrity ship that rescued ppl on their way to Cozumel.

 

The abrupt turn caused the pool water to cascade over ledge and down into central park. I have video I will post up once video downloads.

I saw a  video on FB. It was unreal. Seemed like a lot of water. Glad no one was hurt.
