New Cruise Port Pool Area in La Romana

I know there is a new pool area with a pool, bars, shops and even a sandy area but can't find to many good pictures...Does any one happen to have pictures of the pool & sandy area ?Please share!

Does anyone know if you can rent umbrellas at the new port area pool? I watched a recent video and I don’t think I saw a single umbrella.

Pic looks great.     I think I will give that a try, as I did not find any interesting excursions for my upcoming cruise.  We did the  BAYAHIBE BEACH RESORT excursion once,  and never again.  Not worth the money at all.

What would you think of Bayahibe Beach Resort going on your own and not part of an excursion? We are debating between staying at the port or going to Bayahibe via a cab.

What is the cost if you go on your own?  Things could have changed since we were there(hopefully)
