Ship in STT from 11am - 6pm. Snorkel tour?

Hello

We are experienced cruisers and usually book our own excursions outside the cruise line.  However, with this late arrival into STT, I can't find anything that will work for us.  I may have to resort to using one of the cruise line snorkel tours if we want to go snorkeling.  One goes to Buck Island and one goes to St John Honeymoon Beach.  Is it worth doing one of these?  or does anyone know of a company what will do a short snorkel tour that fits this time frame?  We've been to Sapphire beach before.

Thanks

If I were you I would ask if Fury provides the snorkel tour for your ship. I have booked tours independently on other islands, and it turned out to be the same excursion offered through the ship. The tour descriptions were slightly different and I chose the independent tour because it seemed to offer something different.
