Valor 02/26 Port Change

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but last week on the Valor, we had a port change due to weather. We went to San Juan instead of Nassau.

 

I spent time figuring what to do in Nassau, and was caught a little off guard. Next time I might a quick peek at what to do in nearby ports in case this happens again.

 

San Juan was beautiful so no worries.

 

This was my first cruise and had a blast. The ship and crew are top notch.

I have been to both ports and loved San Juan so much we spent a week there last summer.

C-dad and myself were on the same cruise as you. As I was surprised by the change, I was at least pleased to have changed to another port rather than go to Nassau to find that no excursions would have been enjoyed at all due to bad weather/water conditions.

 

We were going to do the dolphin encounter and while I was very disappointed we didn't get go on the excursion...I will just find a way to either get there on another cruise or take an extended weekend.

 

We too had a great time on the cruise, glad you did as well.
