On board credit?

We booked the Zaandam using a casino offer of a free room. We payed $200 a piece for booking fee. Shouldn’t I get that back as onboard credit? I think I have in the past, but vacation planner said no. Who’s right?

You should be getting that back as obc. Call again.

We always got it back in OBC.  Also did not use it all on one cruise and got the unused portion sent back to my Credit card.

 

Unless the TA was charging you a booking fee for some reason - not HAL.

You will never get the OBC from HAL back - use it or lose it.  If you get OBC from your TA, you will get back any unused portion of that.  Sadly, I left .97 cents for them on Saturday.  I tried my darnedest to use it all.😂

I do not agree.  Most times you are correct that you do not get the OBC back, but for some reason the $200 from casino offers is handled differently. at least in my experience.  I did get a small refund of it on a late 2022 cruise.
