michelle028 Posted January 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Hi Everyone, First time on MSC doing a Med cruise in July. Just a quick question.....in the buffet will there be primarily more European dishes? or will there also be Indian, Asian etc food as well? Thanks for your help! pjo Posted January 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Our family did a MSC cruise for the first time in 2017. Food definitely leaned towards European, but we never had a problem finding something that appealed to us. That goes for breakfast and lunch in the buffet and dinner in the main dining room. Rare Stockjock Posted January 22, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) The buffet is "pretty good". Plenty of pizza, pastas, Indian food, various meats, we enjoyed it. You can also get hamburgers, fries and hot dogs, but I think this is sometimes over-emphasized, as there's a decent variety of foods. MSC Pro Tip: You don't always find the same food on both sides of the buffet. Sometimes, but not all of the time. Don't be afraid to do a full lap around the buffet. Besides, it's good exercise. On the Grandiosa at least, the "ethnic corner" is usually two hot dishes and maybe a couple of cold snacks. There was also a small section at the very back where they would usually be some white rice, glass noodles, and maybe a different type of noodle that's less European and more Asian.
