Iona shuttle in Rotterdam

Iona is overnighting in Rotterdam next month. Is there a shuttle to the city provided?

The ship should pretty much moor up in the City Centre.

There wasn't last October, we walked in about 20-25 mins away.

We nearly got blown away crossing the Bridge!

Thanks, I googled Rotterdam transport and you can get a 1 day ticket for the metro and tram for  €9  and maybe €4.50 if you are over 65. There is a metro station at the south end of the bridge about 400 yards from the terminal

 

I am surprised Iona get get under the bridges and I suppose if it is a strong wind the port is cancelled

Rotterdam is so beautiful lit up at night. Especially the bridge

Yes.  We were in Rotterdam a couple of weeks ago.  Turn left out of the cruise terminal and you can't miss the Metro.  It's really easy and user friendly.  Central Station was four or five stops and you can connect city wide on trams and metro from there.

My daughter informs me that a few weeks ago Cunard provided a shuttle bus from the berth next to the bridge,  into the Centre, despite it not being to far away.

I see you've already worked out the Metro, but just 200 yards from the terminal is the New York Hotel which has a bar and restaurant.

MSC provided shuttles from the ship to just near the large indoor market in January as well. 
 

That said it’s not a long walk for those who are able as you say.
