Meraviglia Main Dining Room and Bar Questions

Hello,

I am looking at booking a cruise on the Meraviglia. I have been looking a numerous reviews. I am getting a little nervous because of the issues with the bar and it seems like massive overcrowding in the buffet as well. I have a few questions.

- Since the buffet seems quite crowded is the MDR available for breakfast and lunch?

- Since it seems very difficult to get drinks, is it worth still getting the easy package?

- Is the bar service problem just in the pool areas or pervasive throughout the ship?

I’m on the ship now.   Buffet isn’t too crowded at all.   I’ve always been able to find a window seat.  Not too crowded at all.   There’s one area that I’ve found that no one seems to be sitting in at all.  And tons of open tables.
and I don’t drink.  But I see open bars all over the ship.

On my previous MSC sailings, I’ve found that there is usually an open space to sit in the buffet and a bar that isn’t too crowded. The spots may be inconvenient, but they’re there. DW and I don’t mind finding a bar away from the general public. The sports bar is usually a go to for us. Unless there’s a big game going on.

I’m also new with a march booking- watched a ton of recent YouTube videos- I’m wondering if the over-crowding/under staffing is more tied to the ship sailing at capacity - which I’m likely to experience over spring break, and not an “always” thing?
