Help with RC app

I haven't cruise RC for about 5-6 years, and there was no app back then.  I just booked a trip for Aug and assuming I have the right app downloaded, do I need to do anything right now?

 

Gleamed from another thread:

90 days out: final payment due

45 days out: check-in begins

30 days out: luggage tags available for printing

1 day out: health questionnaire

1 day out: watch muster video

 

I'm assuming all of the above (except making final payment to my TA) can or must be done through the app, correct?

 

I poked around it a bit and it looks like I can purchase drink or dining packages...anything else I should know?

Make your final payment with your TA as you usually do.  I am in my 70’s and found making purchases such as drink pkgs, etc are easier for me to do on the website.  I just log in there and go to the planner.  
 

You will have your Set Sail Pass on your app which is good but being old school I still print mine out as it speeds up checkin rather than having to look for it on your phone. 

 

The only thing I use the app for is checkin, muster drill, health questions, to keep up with onboard daily activities and to keep a check on my account onboard.

Personally, I find it easier to use the cruise planner on the website for precruise purchases (excursions, dining, drink packages, wifi, etc) rather than trying to make them on the app.  
 

If you selected MTD, you may want to make MTD reservations (again, I’d use the cruise planner)

It's usually a bit closer in than that - make sure that you get credit for it, otherwise you'll have to watch them again (there are two videos).
