Trial run on Celebrity Beyond tomorrow in an EV. We're full pay (not "move it on up"), as I prefer to select what I want, when I want.

 

Looking forward to embarkation tomorrow. Hopefully, a good decision, as my August cruise again on Beyond out of Rome is same stateroom.

 

Must dip my toes in the Atlantic before dusk today. Draw my name in the sand, too.

 

No intention of providing blow-by-blow of my experience, but I shall report back on how she lives up to the hype (or hysteria).

We were assigned an escort and went right aboard. Didn't even have time to sit down. Best embarkation ever. Debarkation worked just as well. Outside waiting on the limo at 7:45. Enjoy!

Nah SD is too dry. The place is expensive cause ladies need to put on better moisturizers.

@ Ritz Carlton in FLL. Right on A1A. Great location. Right on beach, effectively.

 

Saw a few sailings depart PE.

 

Water temp awesome. Beach great, albeit narrow. Walked for some time. Overcast, but warm.

 

America, you are awesome. (Don't be judgy, when it's good, it's good). The vibe is not California, but oddly quite nice.

Final note pre-departure on 29 January  -

 

IMO, it is always worth every pretty penny to afford the top shelf orchestration of a plan.

I like you Ritz Carlton FLL. You're darn near your California contemporaries. Powerful drinks. Great service. Awesome suite experience. But be prepared to peyeth, all ye who enter here.
