Celebrity Blue Chip Sapphire Status

Good afternoon! This will be my first cruise as Sapphire status! I'm aware I should be receiving a free classic drink package and I sail in 29 days. My express pass doesn't show "CALL" on it. I called Blue Chip and they told me to go to customer service when I get on the ship. The last thing I want to do is go stand in line once on board. Did they give me incorrect information? Should I call again and say I want to upgrade my drink package since I want premium? Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you!

You get a sticker for your Sea Pass from the casino cashier. No line.  They should have a list. Sometimes the list doesn't appear until the first evening. The casino should knock off any drinks you charge prior to getting the sticker. I wouldn't bother calling customer service. This is a Blue Chip perk and customer service can't help you.

As far as upgrading to Premium,  based on your play, the casino might cover the difference on the last night of the cruise with a credit to your account,  if you prepay, they probably can't. You might want to stick with the Classic,  pay for any per glass overage - it could be cheaper if you spend a lot of time in the casino, where you will drink whatever you want for free.

Usually no one is staffing the casino when you board, but I have gone to guest services and they have issued me a new card with the drink package on it.  Not sure if all the ships are doing this.  If you wait until casino opens, they will put a sticker on your card and set you up with your free play.

I’m so sorry. Does Sapphire level allow you access to the retreat area if you are sailing in a non suite?

Although it technically is a listed benefit, they aren't honoring it. There is supposed to be a SBC in lieu of it.
