Is the spa open on embarkation day?

I will be traveling with my mother for two weeks prior to our cruise next September. I'm wondering if the spa is open on embarkation days to book a hair styling for her as she will be wanting one straight away or if she'll have to wait for the morning of day 2.

yes, its open, and there are often discounts. You can book through the website or app.

Yes it will be open.  On our Noordam cruise in September I had a haircut on embarkation day.

I thought all the spa people would be too busy selling expensive treatments for the rest of the cruise to have time to do any work on Embarkation Day.  👩‍🦳👵

Not all of them. The salon will take the opportunity to make some money if one presents itself.

Looks like it starts at $37, at least on the Rotterdam for next week

Thank you so much!  I have Medium long hair and normally pay about $25+. I think that I will gladly pay $37+ on the ship.  I hope that includes products to tame my course mane.🤦‍♀️
