jtslattery Posted January 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2023 We are taking our first cruise to Silversea's and have booked a guarantee cabin. When will we learn which cabin we will be staying in?
Stumblefoot Posted January 31, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2023 Depends. Sometimes it’s months. Sometimes, weeks. Sometimes, not until you board. It’s a total crap shot. But, you at least know you’ll be on the ship.
dawntrdr Posted January 31, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2023 Keep checking your Mysilversea account under the booking details. Sometimes it appears there first.
Nuka Posted February 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2023 At the very least you will get what category was booked. Good luck for more!

I just booked my First SS cruise on Muse May27,2024 for Alaska. I/We normally sail with Celebrity but with the increased charges and decreased content we are trying Azamara, Oceania and Silversea cruises. As a Solo guest the single supplement on Silversea was only an additional 25% as opposed to most cruise lines 100% upcharge. I booked the least expensive ocean view Vista Suite #407 on Deck 4 that was the Last one (15 Months away!) and a Handicap one. I ask if I needed to show proof of Needing such a cabin (No) and what would happen If someone qualified to book it wanted it? I was told that in that case I would be upgraded to a higher suite (They are All higher!) so not to worry. I booked the Port 2 Port as the air ticket cost from where I live in Northern California is not very expensive.
