Celebrity Solstice….which cabin

I am trying to decide which cabin to choose for a Asia itinerary in 2025 going to Vietnam an Thailand on the Solstice …I have never sailed this class of ship…I have only been on the Summit, Edge and Apex in Sky Suites…for this sailing we booked Aquaclass as we watch Celebrity’s prices rise…

we are currently booked in an aft cabin 1672…it’s interesting it looks like the Solstice is the only ship in its class that has Aqua aft cabins…I was thinking of considering switching to 1606 or other cabins on the hump by the library…I have never stayed all the way aft and have heard concerns about soot, noise long walk to cabin…anyone have a preference?

thanks

We've been aft several times.  IMO the soot issue is way overemphasized.  Long walk?  Only you can decide that.  There's much less foot traffic, so noise is not an issue.

I've stayed a few doors down on Solstice in one of the aft corner suites.  No issues with soot or noise.

Solstice has no rear set of elevators, just middle and forward so it is a bit of a walk.  For me it's a plus as it forces me to get a few more steps.

At the front/rear of the ship you tend to get a bit more motion, so if you're sensitive to that then it may be worth a thought.
