Divi beach do we need to book in advance still?

As the title questions.. I have not been back for several years and this was my favorite spot.  Before, I believe I booked this in advance and there was a guard that reviewed my booking prior to entry to the resort.  Is this still accurate?  Thanks in advance .

I have never heard of the guard at the entrance of Divi checking for a booking.  I suggest you just get a taxi and go there - don't worry about an advance booking.
