Another glowing review for Gone Caribe

If you are looking for something special to do while in Curacao, look no further than Gone Caribe.  The Turtle Experience was amazing - lots of beautiful scenery stops before ending at the beach to swim with the turtles.  Our guide, Joey, was fantastic - knowledgeable and passionate about Curacao.  This is a private tour - we had 4 adults and was worth every penny.  Some hiking is involved, but nothing too strenuous and the views are so worth it.  Lunch overlooking the turtle beach was delicious.  Perfect day.

Thank you for reporting back your experience.  Where else did you go on your tour?

We booked them for our March stop in Curacao and their communication has been wonderful so far.

The first part of the tour was mostly in the car with great commentary from Joey.  We drove up a "mountain" and stopped at a look out point for great photos and views.  Then we went to the National Park - cave and coastal views.  Then on to the beach where we swam with the sea turtles.  There are showers there so you can freshen up before lunch.  Lunch was a 5 minute drive from the beach on a hill, overlooking the turtle beach.  Then back to the ship.  Perfect day

Sounds like a lot of fun!  Do you recall the cost for your tour?  Thanks.

It came out to about $140pp - it was usually more than we pay but it was so worth it.

A group of 6 of us did a private tour using Gone Caribe and we had a most memorable and fabulous experience with Joseph (guide) and Puff (driver)

We had 6 points of interest on our tour and the top 3 were:

  • Shete Boka National Park: explored large and unpredictable waves crashing against an underground cave!
  • Playa Piskado: Swam with beautiful turtles in their natural habitat!
  • Playa Porto Marie: Enjoyed this beautiful full-serviced beach of ''Banda Abou''. It is the perfect place for snorkeling, swimming, eating lunch and relaxing.

Joseph is a very knowledgable guide and was very interesting to hear the history of the island.   As a bonus, Joseph guided us across the floating bridge to downtown and gave us some great guidance on shopping.

We highly Gone Caribe and we would definitely use them again in the future
