Anyone currently on the Epic? Entertainment question….

Looking for anyone who’s currently aboard the Epic to find out what’s on the entertainment schedule.

Specifically, is This One’s For You (Elton John tribute) performing?  If yes, are they in the Epic Theater?

Also, are the Beatles performing?

Wondering if the Elton John tribute was brought on board to take the place of the Priscilla or are they replacing the Beatles while the band member recovers from the previously rumored injury…?

Thanks for responding.

Just off the 2/5 Epic sailing. Entertainment options were weak. No big production except Burn the Floor 4-5 times.  Newlyweds in Epic Theater. The Elton John tribute is merely lounge singers doing Elton songs in main theater. One of the Howl at the Moon singers also did an Epic Theater show Tribute to the Divas.  No Beatles. Bliss Lounge was used for 18-21 get together. Cavern Club not used. Three comedians. Two musicians—one in Shakers the other in Maltings…both performing at the same time in open venues next to each other and over casino. Manhattan has some entertainment but we didn’t dine there.  Besides lacking in entertainment…the cruise was amazing.  4350 on board but rarely felt too crowded. Go with an open mind.

I agree that entertainment wasn’t up to what I had become used to on NCL. No Beatles(sick), no Broadway quality show. Burn the Floor was excellent. Cruise director was fun, food in specialty restaurants was very good.
I feel for the staff. They must be short handed as lines for bars and buffet were long at peak times. I did not encounter anyone (who was service staff ) to be rude but did see lots of ugly behavior from the passengers, so quick to judge. Many times we would have preferred Taste but their hours didn’t work with our hunger!

NCL has always been our go to cruise option but I can see things changing and not in a good way.
I’d rather see upgrading the current fleet service wise and give the new builds a hold. We deserve it as loyal passengers.

Thank you for reporting back on the entertainment, or lack thereof,  options.    As we sail in five weeks, I am disappointed.  We have seen Burn the Floor once and for us, it is an one and done show.  We were really looking forward to the Beatles shows as we seen it on the Joy last year on two sailings and really enjoyed their shows.

Hi everyone. Related questions. We depart on the epic in three weeks. I’ve heard that one can only book comedians once on board and that they sell out quickly. But as there are major boarding issues one the epic these days I’m thinking of avoiding that by arriving around 4. But then maybe I won’t get tickets to the comedians? Any insights or advice on this?

Once back home, I will post a detailed review…new topic. I’ll share some tips that worked for us. We had a blast.
