I have some questions about the perks that come with Diamond:

* Specialty Restaurant dinner plus 1 cabin guest (no beverages)

Is this for all restaurants and then it’s the experience menu you get for free?

 

* 40% off onboard pictures

Is this only valid when you buy photos without a photo package?

Is this discount valid on photo packages bought onboard?

is this discount valid on photo packages bought online?
 

* MSC Voyagers Club Photo (at restaurant)

Is this just one photo that’s made in de restaurants or is there a specific place/ time for this?

 

* 10% off Wi-Fi * (Browse Cruise / Browse & Stream Cruise)

Is this only valid when you buy photos without a photo package?

Is this discount only valid on wifi bought onboard?

is this discount valid on wifi bought online?

 

* A collection of flexible onboard offers

Does anybody know what those are?

 

* 50% off F1 Simulator

is this only valid if you “pay” for your ride or is it also discounted when you use a fun pass to pay for this?

 

* 30% off the second massage

Does the massage be on the same person or is this per cabin?

I'll add a question (perhaps it's common knowledge, but I'm new to MSC).

 

I matched to Diamond - the specialty dinner, does that apply to shorter (3-night) sailings as well?

Following….we are booked on Meraviglia in early March, but specialty dinner does not appear on booking confirmation.

We have been sailed with MSC twice  each with 7 day and with a Diamond status match.  As I recall the specialty dinner (complement) did not show up on our booking however once on board the benefits list (a sheet) would be in your cabin. To reserve the dinner on first cruise we went to the actual Butcher Cut restaurant to reserve our time slot (Divina) and on Meraviglia we went the designated place (the info in the daily activity paper) to reserve our time slot and told them it is for a Diamond complement dinner and both times they did not charge us the cost (if order through their set menu).  We did give out the tip for the dinner.  You will need to do it as soon as possible for the availability.

On our December cruise (Meraviglia) it should be on the formal night in the dinning room only.  That night no photographer around so we did not get our picture taken. We will need to check on the next cruise because the picture and the chocolate GIFT (used to ship but MSC cut back to chocolate gift then no gift ???).

We just got off Meraviglia with status match  perks. I never did figure out the picture deal nor did I ask  so it's partially my fault. Do not miss out on the dining perk. We did Butchers Cut and it was fantastic. More than enough with what they call the " tasters meal".  It was husband's birthday and were given a large cake ( which we could not finish) and yes, the Prosecco and cookies with a choc bar will arrive on formal night.

Sitting at the Captains party we kind of hid in a corner feeling a bit guilty though we have traveled MSC 4 times prior and a man came over and sat next to us, it was his first time on MSC and status matched thru a hotel program. You won't be alone. Go have fun !!

As a Diamond, we were given our sparkling wine, the chocolate bars and the macaroons on our first day with both our B2B sailings in Jan. 2023. They don't give you a letter or coupon for the other perks such as the free photo and specialty dinner. You just ask for them at the appropriate place.
