JoeandSheryl Posted March 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2006 :) Hi :) We will be in Hamilton Bermuda on 4-30 arriving at 8:00pm until 6:00 pm on May 1. We would like to go to Horshoe Bay, Tobacco Bay, and Gibbs Lighthouse. Is this all possible by bus or would we be better to go by cab? Does anyone know about what it would cost by cab? Thanks .... Joe and Sheryl:)
cruznut Posted March 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Get the bus pass. We took a cab to Gibb's Hill and it was $25.00 - plus tip. When you go to Horseshoe Bay you will be dropped off at the top of a hill. It's a hike down, but for $2.00 (I think it was, may be $3.00) you can get a ride up the hill. DO NOT RENT A SCOOTER - it is too dangerous. Have a great time
Jeanne S Posted March 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2006 You really do not have enough time to visit the South Shore - HB/Lighthouse and then go to TB in St Georges.
MeBob Posted March 10, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Walk two blocks up from Front Street (that's where the ship docks) to the bus stop and take the number seven bus to get to Horseshoe Bay. A great sight seeing ride also.

Jeanne S Posted March 24, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2006 When you get to Horseshoe Bay the Bus will stop at the top of a hill and you walk down to the beach. If you are tired upon leaving there is a $1/pp jitney.
