kaylasnana Posted February 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) Are there a lot of obstructed view balcony cabins on the escape? It looks like only “guaranteed balconies “ are available. Just curious what my chances are. Thanks so much. Rare BirdTravels Posted February 19, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2023 There are no obstructed view balconies. That being said, there are staterooms like on Deck 9 over the waterfront where you can't look straight down at the water because of the overhanging roof below. But, you can look out with nothing obstructing your view (like a lifeboat)
disneylover89 Posted February 19, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2023 For some reason, when you book the Escape, it only shows guarantee balconies. You have to call to pick your room, it does not mean there is nothing left. I booked in October and had to call and plenty of cabins were available. In December, we booked a cabin on the Escape sailing the first week of May and there were many classes of cabins that allowed us to choose if we had booked online. However we booked through a travel agent and he suggested a cabin that we agreed to. So maybe it varies with availability?
