There are no obstructed view balconies. That being said, there are staterooms like on Deck 9 over the waterfront where you can't look straight down at the water because of the overhanging roof below. But, you can look out with nothing obstructing your view (like a lifeboat)

In December, we booked a cabin on the Escape sailing the first week of May and there were many classes of cabins that allowed us to choose if we had booked online. However we booked through a travel agent and he suggested a cabin that we agreed to. So maybe it varies with availability?
