Travel from Salerno to Positano

Any advice how to get from Salerno to Positano on April 8.  All excursions are booked.

Yes, just take the ferry.  There is also a bus option but it's slower and wildly uncomfortable, not to mention overcrowded and you'd have to change buses in Amalfi.  The total trip by bus takes more than two hours.

 

The ferry port is Concordia, a little over 2 km/about one and a half miles on foot from the cruise port.  It's a nice walk along a waterfront pedestrian pathway.

As you'll see on the schedule, by ferry the trip is a little over an hour.  It's a nice ride with beautiful vistas of the coast.  Be sure to purchase your return ticket in the morning and to allow yourself enough time for the walk back from the Concordia dock to the cruise port.

We are arriving on a cruise ship and will need to get to Concordia for the ferry but unable to walk the 2k. Any advice on the best way to get there? Thanks!

There is a public bus in front of the port, on Via Porto, that takes you to Concordia.  Any one of buses 002, 003, 004 or 006 will do, whatever comes first.

 

I assume you can also get a taxi but I don't know that for sure.
