Last cruise the wait staff ordered them for us and brought them to our table.

It turns out that QR code doesn't provide you with any additional information.When I scanned it on my just completed cruise all I got was the same chart showing the VIFP benefits that you can see on the Carnival website:

I took that chart at it's word, saying I could redeem the bottle in my stateroom, and was not charged.
