Allure Departure Time Question

This is our first cruise since COVID so I wanted to make sure I understood the check in times. Currently ours shows 2:30-3pm for a 4pm sailing. Are these times actually enforced and you'll wait to board until that time? I only ask because we usually like to be able to board, grab lunch, check out the room when they open, etc. If we are just going to wait in the terminal though we will wait until our scheduled time.

Rooms are not available until 1:00, this was strictly enforced on our January Allure trip.  We had an early arrival time and were asked about it when we arrived at the terminal but no verification.

The ship was pretty full by 2 and I would not worry about showing up an hour or so early.  You will be able to go straight to your room and there are still many food options.  The buffet will be mobbed anytime after 11 but try alternates such as the Solarium Bistro.
