Solar Eclipse Cruise April 2024 - Itinerary Change

For those on this cruise, the itinerary has been changed and we will be at sea on 8th April, rather than being in Mazatlan, "in the hope of providing our guests the best opportunity to experience the total eclipse".

 

That's fantastic news as there's always the danger that there could be a bit of coastal cloud.

Yes- this is totally awesome.

I got into eclipse cruising after being rained out for the annular in 1994.

Hopefully all the folks who posted when the voyage came out will be by to see this news and thanking the common sense that had prevailed at Santa Clarita HQ.

used a travel agent . Don't know if she got email since she is currently on a cruise. I checked on the cruise and see the itinerary change and note in the travel summary.This is the first time on a cruise ship that we  will see an eclipse.
