Yes, so far the shots have all been at the Haven bar.

 

Not sure about the lost luggage, but have amazingly good news for folks that travel in the Haven. They've started offering specials for lunch and dinner each night in addition to the regular menu.

 

Today for lunch they had loaded baked potatoes and BBQ ribs. Tonight for dinner they're offering coconut shrimp and pecan crusted turkey medallions.

The potato was filled with chili and cheese, very crispy and I was tempted to just get 2 more orders of them and forgo traditional lunch. Hubby got the ribs, they looked like Fred Flintstone dinner.

Very hot in Acapulco today. We walked and wandered around town with some new friends from the UK. Four beers for 100 pesos ($5).

 

Going to catch the footloose show tonight. Probably skipping dinner since our room is still full of too many snacks and sandwiches.

Wines around the world is March 1st, Behind the Scenes tours is taking place on the 27th, and dinner with the officers TBD but most likely the night we're in Cabo. We're signed up for all of them.

Question - were you Sapphire when you boarded, or are you becoming Sapphire during the cruise?   I ask because we are "leveling up" during our next cruise, and I wasn't sure when I should go collect the pin

Stop by the outdoor cavern bar on deck  8 and say hello to Nestor. He’s a great bartender and awesome person.  Great place to watch beetles on tv while having a drink.

You would become Sapphire AFTER your next cruise not during.

Was at the bar until 1am the other night, so just made our way to wines around the world at 1pm on the sea day.

 

Will have to upload videos now that we're at land, but man, that group of German passengers know how to party. They're dangerous with their shots.

 

Getting a bit out of sorts with where things left off due to the every other day Internet connection. But today we arrived in Guatemala with a scheduled beer excursion beginning at 7:45am. I think it's a long 1.5 hr bus ride so will try to nap on the way.

 

Last night we had dinner with the officers and it was a good experience. No shots at the bar, most of us were still recovering from the other night.

 

Even with my upgrade with T-Mobile Internet is very slow here in Guatemala so videos may have to wait. I'll look for the officer list when we're back on board, I don't remember what deck I saw it on.

The special offerings at the Haven restaurant were the same from the main dining room, so that was a bit disappointing to see that they're not really special per se. For dinner they had the beef slider app that I had from them MDR and a lemon pepper shrimp that was available. 

 

We missed lunch though because of our wives around the world adventure and I would have enjoyed that. Corn fritters and Cajun chicken over noodles for lunch. My lava cake at dessert was served upside down...

Some called them jellyfish shots, others said zombie brains. The red turned to a jelly. It was more pretty than tasty.

 

The rainbow ones are good and fruity.

Beer tour in Guatemala today. Long bus ride to city center where we switched to a different smaller bus to get through the cobblestone streets. Beer was good, but some miscommunication after to find the bus to get back to the other bus. Hiding out inside a church for a seat and shade.

He is, last night was an older crowd so they were not giving him a good list of songs to play. They're just a handful of folks that can do Tina Turner justice and he isn't one of them.

 

It would be like asking him to play Oops I Did it Again by Brittany Spears. Sure, he probably could... But that doesn't mean he should.
