the cruise line offers this as a excursion but can’t people just hope on and off ferry for much less

You can take the ferry there and back. I always use the ferry if my ship is docked at the Dockyard. The ferry has extended hours on Harbour Nights.  The ferry runs until 10:30. There is a 9:00 PM run which is a good time if you don’t want to stay until 10:30.

I was so looking forward to this on our cruise in Oct and didn't realize until recently that they stop doing in august 😞
