Miami hotel to Miami Port to miss Miami marathon in January 2024

We got caught in nightmare traffic this year during Miami marathon trying to get to Port Miami. Anyone have suggestion for hotel that would be less difficult getting to Port?  TIA for any help.

Seems to me only two hotels are not in the direct path of the course towards the Port.

Holiday Inn and YVE

 

Or stay way north of Miami and ride Brightline to downtown after noon when things have calmed down. Uber from the station.
