Discovery Princess - Experience Center?

Does anyone know what (if anything) is in the “Experience Center”?

There was talk of an escape room experience being put in, or some type of laser-tag type of game.

Headed out for the Mexico cruise in April, so trying to plan activities with the kiddo.

Just like the sky and enchanted, they initially build a state of the art escape room, which you had to book while onboard in advance for a small fee. They did use the one on the sky when the ship came out. Then when the pandemic shutdown happened. It has not been in use since.

Money thrown down the drain

Thanks - unfortunately that thread is a half a year old, and there was nothing open in the Discovery at that time.  The escape room was in the Enchanted, and the poster was guessing it would be added to Discovery.

Yup - was tying to figure out if they’ve done anything with the space yet.

I would have to think that they’ve already sunk costs into developing the laser shooting and escape room experiences.  During the pandemic, throwing more money at ships to get the hardware installed wasn’t feasible, but now that operations have fully resumed, it seems like this should be a quick way of adding an additional revenue stream to the ship.

Yes and a lot wasn’t open then.

Maybe someone on the ship could check?

There are some Discovery threads on CC.  Good luck!
