Allowable BYOB

 Does MSC allow passengers to bring any wine or alcohol on board with them when first boarding. I know alot of lines do, not sure about this one.

No,

MSC does not allow any beverage to be brought onboard during embarkation.

No wine, bottled water or sodas.

Some have reported coming back onboard at a port with a soda  or bottle of water in hand with no issue.

 

We spent a week in Barcelona before our cruise.We purchased a case of wine we intended to bring home. We did let YC know there was a case of wine with our luggage.
They took it and stored it away during our cruise.

 

We had plenty of drinks on board during cruise.
