OCHO RIOS - Shore Exc ??

L'il help please. We're cruising the Jewel / Western Carribean / 4-2-06. Looking for info about the Pirate Shore Exc. in Ocho Rios (Jolly Roger?). We'll have kids ranging from ages seven to forty-something and are curious if it's just a booze-fest (fine for us big kids ;) ) or if it's family friendly? 3 Families, 6 kids: 7 - 15. Our experience with Jolly Roger: if they offer the tour twice, take the morning one, it is more family orianted and fun for the kids plus there will still be some liquids the big kids will enjoy, the afternoon excursion is strictly party time. Our 2 granddaughters took it a couple of years ago: at the time they were 18 and 21: I don't want to tell you what condition they retuned in. On the otherhand we did it with them when they were young; morning tour and we all had a blast. Of course I don't know if it will be offered twice. This is just my take. another experience, if you haven't done it is Dunns River Falls and even the younger ones should be old enough to enjoy the challenge. We did this with 3 families about 12 years ago; the ages varied from 5 to 55; we all had a challenge but wonderful experience. NMnita

Another option is Cool Runnings - Combines a sailboat ride to Dunns falls with soft drinks, a climb of the falls for thosee that want to, and a moderate booze cruise back. We did this last month off the dawn. Lots of families.
