Carnival Mahogany Bay Beach Cabana - extra people?

For the Mahogany Bay beach cabana excursion, the description says you can purchase access for 2 extra guests, for an additional fee at the shore excursion desk, but the description does not list the fee.

 

Anyone know what they are charging for this? Apparently, you need a wrist band to get into the cabana area, so the extra person charge can't be avoided if we want to stick together.

So I emailed carnival this question and they got back to me within a few hours (on a Sunday no less, actually a very impressive response time! )

 

For anyone down the road that has this question,  the charge is $44.99 (as of today)  per extra person.

Very reasonable per person charge, IMO.

 

We love the beach cabanas there. They were sold out when we booked our upcoming cruise, but I stalked the Carnival website and snagged one someone cancelled right at final payment due date.

Mahogany Bay is a great private area. We loved it there! Enjoy!
