Any great must do excursions?

Spoiled for choice as a great base for going in different directions with a big variation in what you will see or do along the way or when you arrive at your destination.

Depends on your own interests.  Check the shorex offered by your cruise line(no need to actually book one but you will get some ideas)  to get an idea of what is possible.  Also search online.

And do SEARCH for previous threads about both to read what others asked and the suggestions they received.  Use the SEARCH BOX under your user name, hit the little spy glass and read results.  Enter names one at a time.

And will you dock in TOULON or is it la SEYNE SUR MER as both are used and it could make a difference if you have a private tour arrangement as they need to know where to find you, also if you are planning to DIY something using trains or public buses.

La Seyne is the port. I have already looked at all the ship has to offer and researched. Looking for opinions of from people who had a great excursion in this port. Thanks for your suggestions.

I would think that almost every excursion from this port would be" a"great one" as you are spoiled for choice with very varied experiences.

Some excursions would be longer than others and take a full day.. Examples would include travelling by train to Cannes or Nice, or to Aix en Provence. St Tropez would be the closest for you. then exploring on your own,  Or if you have transport, wine touring in the area between Bandol and  le Castellet,(Bandol very close, should be less than 30 mins by train and that area is very pretty. Medeival and perched,  Le Castellet is very  touristy but  nice for a wander around attractive surroundings ) or, much longer, a tour to les Beaux or Avignon, or around the pretty Luberon Villages, or to Grasse, or depending on the time of year, visit lavendar fields. .  Should you want a beach, there are a number much closer to your port also boat trips.  Cassis is also an option by train, and depending on the time of year, boat trips around the calanques from there.

The longer trips would be better booked as a shorex for peace of mind.

It is really a matter of personal choice, so whatever appeals to YOU, not to others.  Personally as the distance is not at all far and the experience varied,  I would recommend a private tour to Bandol, the vineyards between there and le Castellet, and some time in le Castellet but it would be costly unless you can find others on your Roll Call who would be happy to share the tour and the cost.  Or perhaps some on your Roll Call have already booked private tours to somewhere and are looking for fellow px like yourself to join them?  have you checked?
