Ponant Antarctica return charter flight

Hi all,

I will be travelling on the Antartica cruise this December, and would like to not take the return charter flight between Ushuaia and Buenos Aires, and rather continue to travel elsewhere. I was quoted a penalty of 400 euros for this, which seems a bit steep for opting out of a service even if it is a charter flight. I was wondering what others have done in this case, either book another flight through their "a la carte" service, just not taken the flight or if there were other options? Appreciate your help

Many Thanks

Hello.

We will also be on an Antartica cruise in December. We are also flying onwards so have informed Ponant that we won't be taking the return charter and will be leaving the ship as an early departure. They have updated the itinerary which now just has return charter flight refused. We were not charged.
