return of the dream...the Crown has a newer new version of the Princess Love Boat Dream

just had this on the Crown

 

the other night I saw this being served in the MDR & asked what it was...the Love Boat Dream, so the next night I ordered it...so much better than the 'red thing version' on our last cruise...it still has a shortbread cookie on the bottom, but you can just ignore that it is back to the chocolate mousse & rasberry coulis, I like the puddle of it on the top (easier to eat than scraping it off the plate)...everyone will have their own opinion, but I felt like it was a pretty reasonable replacement for the original (our waiter said they had switched from the 'red thing' for the last two cruises)

Well, this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Assuming I can ask them to scoop out the raspberry sauce from that volcanic crater there and replace it with whipped cream -- then, it's a dream dessert!  I don't believe in mixing fruit and chocolate . . .
