Platinum and booking question

Hi everyone!

 

My new partner and I are planning a cruise for the fall. He is Platinum level and I am only Red, but the deals under my VIFP are cheaper than his, by about $300.

 

Will he still get his Platinum perks if I book the cruise under my VIFP? Or would it be better for him to suck it up and pay the higher cruise price for him to get his benefits?

Yes, his platinum perks still count no matter who books the cruise. It goes by the VIFP number. Just make sure to add it after booking.

Being you're in the same cabin you can board under his Platinum perk.

That seems to be pretty normal..... Carnival knows that those of us who are Diamond and Platinum will keep booking cruises so no need to give us a good offer.  (But we do get a plastic ship pin and a koozie !!!!!! )

There isn't one platinum benefit worth $300 dollars for him to book it instead of your cheaper rate. But yes, he still gets all his benefits.
