Water shoes?

I am wondering if Carnival rents water shoes? My husband and I leave MOnday aboard the Imagination. We plan to do the Dunn River Falls on our own, so I am wondering if we can rent shoes on our own?

You can rent them right at the falls.

I was just at Walmart tonight. They have them already in stock. They were selling them on baord the Miracle last year. They cost alot more than at Walmart.

:D They run around $4.88 at Wal-Mart. So that isn't much to pay for water shoes. Then you can keep them to wear at the lake or at the beach when you get home.

We bought a pair in the Caymans, which was the stop before Jamaica. They were cheap but heck we only needed for the day, better than renting. YUCK.

I would not want to rent them plus it cost double.

BE CAREFUL! Don't wear jewelry, especially rings. They have guides there helping you up the falls. They have everyone hold hands as you're climbing up. Some of the guides actually tried to slip the wedding/engagement rings off some of the ladies in our group while they "helped" them climb and holding their hands.

 

Your hands are wet and it's easy to be distracted with the falls and all that's going on.

I guess too late for you but I wait until they go on sale after season at WalMart for $2 pair. For $2 I wear them one time and throw them away on the ship. They pick up that funky seaweed smell that is really hard to wash out so not worth taking back home.
