mystic51 Posted March 18, 2023 Author #2 Share Posted March 18, 2023 (edited) I used one of these on our Celebrity cruises in a regular cabin. Was great! Stored it in our closet against the closet wall. Easy to fold and unfold. Was in our cabin when we arrived and just had to leave it in the cabin when we departed. Could not have been easier. kokopelli-az Posted March 18, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2023 Did you rent it from Special Needs at Sea? Just so others know, their website says that these folding scooters are only available at this time for cruises out of certain ports. But this is a great option to know about. Especially for passengers who do not have an accessible stateroom.

Joseph2017China Posted March 20, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2023 Everything is easier with a fold up scooter, which includes space, airlines, taxi, busses, hotels, and ease of use. Disadvantage is many are 24 volts instead of 48 volts and this presents sometimes less power, and less range. however, many fold up scooters have removeable batteries, and you can carry a second battery to solve the issue.
